John F. Kelly (Chief Executive Officer)
John is a high-energy and seasoned businessman with more than 20 years of leadership, including diversified strategic and operational (P&L) experience in a wide range of companies from Fortune 500s to several venture startups.
For over 10 years, John has been angel investing, guiding, growing and managing several high-technology companies. He founded several companies in industrial supply chain solution provider, a telecom/network solution provider, a network management software solution company and a project planning and management software company.
Previously, in a career spanning 10 years, John held key executive positions with profit and loss responsibility at both Nokia and Digital Equipment Corporation (now Compaq). He has built a stellar reputation in strategic sales (multinational/OEM), channel management, mass merchandising, and international marketing/operations.
John served on the board of directors of the World Trade Center and CEO Forum. He was an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University Graduate School of Industrial Administration. He has other accolades and awards from the Department of Defense and other agencies as well as various industry associations and the press. He has shared his experiences at speaking forums throughout the world, including Internet World Expo, Comdex, Asia Pacific Forum, The Indus Entrepreneurs, The White House, MIT and the Department of Commerce.
Charles D. Bouthot (Senior Vice President - Client Engagements)
Charlie leads, manages and delivers client engagements that identify and implement technology and creative business solutions. He has over 16 years of information technology management experience on Internet and web based projects. Cynthia D. Normand (Vice President - Finance)
Cindy brings more than nearly 20 years of financial, business, entrepreneurial and operational experiences to New Technologies, most of which have been spent in consulting and technology. Most recently, she was one of the early members of Treacy & Company, a management-consulting firm, led by MIT Sloan professor and co-author of the international best seller "The Discipline of Market Leaders", Dr. Michael E. Treacy. Through Cindy's operational leadership she helped to build the company into a world-class strategy consulting company. She held a variety of management roles to grow the company responsibly and profitably. In addition, she played an integral role in the integration of the acquisition with Gen3 Partners, running business operations and leading the development of new offices. Cindy holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting from Boston University.
Ralph A. Rodriguez (Board Member)
Mr. Rodriguez is an ASP Research Fellow with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Senior Fellow with the Cambridge Institute of Applied Management (CIOAM). He is an author, inventor (already holding several patents), sought-after speaker, and successful entrepreneur. Formerly the senior vice president of technology research and practice director for the Technology Markets Group at Aberdeen Group, a leading Boston research and analysis firm, he led that company’s research across the entire technology market. Research under his purview investigated the business strategies and technologies that drove operational excellence, productivity, flexibility, real-time enterprise and best-in-class technical leadership. His own interests include best practices and technologies in information security, wireless & mobility, outsourcing/off-shoring and managed services.
Ralph has amassed over 20 years of experience spanning management, IT and entrepreneurship in a variety of roles. From a strategic technical perspective, he was the chief technology officer of Brooks Automation’s Enterprise Software Division, acquired by Applied Materials in 2007. Previous positions include executive vice president and chief information officer of eXcelon Corporation (formerly Object Design), which was the market leader in XML based business process management prior to its acquisition by Progress Software at the end of 2002; as well as vice president and chief information officer of C-bridge, a publicly traded, MIT-based company focused on service oriented architecture and business process management. Early in his career, Rodriguez founded two companies: Invenio and NTA; and served as the Principal Strategy Consultant for Treacy & Company.
